Expanding Frontiers: An Evening with Douglas Brinkley

Join us July 11 for an evening of cocktails, dinner, and a conversation with celebrated presidential historian and author Douglas Brinkley to kick off a series of summer events commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the Battle of Fallen Timbers.
The evening will include a limited number of silent auction items featuring original art from area artists. Copies of Mr. Brinkley’s recently published book American Moonshot: John F. Kennedy and the Great Space Race will be available for purchase.
Douglas Brinkley is a professor of history at Rice University, the CNN Presidential Historian, and author of several New York Times best-selling works of nonfiction including The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America and The Great Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and is editor of two volumes of Reagan Diaries.
